Since graduating from the University of Utah graphic design program, I have been dumped into the deep end of the design world. I am currently the Digital Communications director for AIGA Salt Lake City as well as the sole Interactive/Web designer at Fluid Studio. I am a restorer of the rusty, I’d rather have a 40 car, a polaroid camera and to fix up something forgotten than buy something new and shiny. I love design and the power it has for social change, but it can do more and we just need to keep working to push our trade into new unexplored areas and not just rely on our ability to make things pretty.
